These three folks don’t care much about styles and fashions, though their background is fed by different types of genres, with jazz serving as its main source of inspiration. Depicting freedom through their compositions and playing, as a way to fly away, for a while, from the cages of our lives. So much so that each piece of this original work has its own becoming. The band let things happen; ideas and feelings flowing in spades and developed and executed exquisitely with an intense and electrifying groove, all brought together with just three instruments.
The album itself, PARABOLÊ, is drawn from the eponymous track, inspired by the vision of a little girl throwing a long strip up to the sky, tracing a cool and unpredictable parabola, just as GINESTHAI’s music does. And that’s the spirit: GINESTHAI, from the classic Greek “to become”, “to happen”, “to take place”...
